From The Desk Of Sylvia M Donado, President PMI Greater New Orleans Chapter
It is my honor and pleasure to announce that Saturday night in Los Angeles, California the New Orleans VA Hospital: Project Legacy was awarded the 2018 PMI Project Of The Year Award.
This competition is for large complex projects of $100M+ with participants in over 200 countries worldwide and is awarded to a project that best delivers superior performance of project management practices, excellent organizational results and positive impacts on society.
Since Katrina, there have been moments that mean far more to us than they would to any other region.
This is one of those moments.
A moment when the soul, strength, and resilience of New Orleans meets excellence in project management.
A moment when New Orleans is at the top of the profession for its dedication and innovation.
On behalf of the PMI Greater New Orleans chapter, I would like to congratulate Fernando Rivera, Dr. Stephanie Repasky, and their team for this tremendous accomplishment for our area.
If you would like to know more about this project and congratulate them in person. There are 2 upcoming opportunities to do so. You can go to www.pmigno.org for details and registration.
